Reserve Your Date
When you reach out to me we will work together on how to incorperate skiing & boarding into your proposal. First we’ll schedule a free consultation phone call to discuss what you are envisioning and answer any questions you may have.
Let’s Collaborate!
Once you’ve reserved your date, we will start working on your super secret proposal plan. We’ll choose your mountain (if you haven’t already), and get into the nitty gritty details. Based on what you’re envisioning, I’ll send you specific location ideas so you can pick your favorite spot to pop the question. We’ll develop a plan on where to stand for an epic view in the background, how to link up with me without your significant other noticing, and what to say to keep it all a surprise. I like to set up a second call about a week prior to the proposal to go over the plan again to make sure we are on the same page.
Ski the Day
You’ll propose to the person of your dreams AND you get to tear it up the mountain. What could be better?! I’ll capture the proposal, you’ll get a new fiance, and I’ll get awesome photos of the two of you skiing & boarding down the mountain on the Best Day Ever.
Relive Your Day
Getting engaged is big news! Within 24 hours, I will email you some sneak peek photos for you to post online and share the happy news with your friends and family. Six to eight weeks from your date you’ll receive an online gallery of your photos to download and share with anyone and everyone. You’ll be able to look back on your day with beautiful photos reflecting your adventurous hearts and love for each other!

How experienced a skier are you? How do you ski AND take pictures?
I’m a very experienced skier. I began skiing at a young age and alpine raced for 10 years. Years of both skiing and photographing have allowed me to confidently combine both.
How experienced a skier or boarder do I need to be?
As long as you and your partner both feel comfortable navigating on skis or a board, you can Ski the Day. If you only want to stick to the green runs, that is completely okay! This is your day and you can make it exactly how you want it.
If your partner does NOT know how to ski or snowboard, I highly recommend NOT proposing while skiing or boarding. Learning to navigate with one or two sticks strapped to your feet can be overwhelming, and may not be their ideal way to get engaged. But the good news is, I also photograph non-skiing and boarding proposals, so I can still help you out! You can check out my other site for more information on how to propose in regular shoes.
How do I recognize you on the mountain when we’ve never met? How do you recognize us?
Before meeting up, we’ll exchange photos and details so we know exactly who we are looking for, without actually meeting in front of your partner and tipping them off. We’ll have an evil genius master plan so that the day of so all you’ll have to do is ask “will you marry me?”
Won’t my partner notice some skier lady taking photos of us?
So far, I’ve never been caught. I’m the world’s greatest criminal. Jokes aside, it is very common for mountains to have photographers taking photos. I’ll be in our agreed-upon location, and when I spot you guys I’ll make it look like I’m just taking pictures of passing skiers for the mountain. Then once you grab your partner’s attention, I’ll whip out the big guns (aka the big lens) and focus on you. Your partner will be so focused on all the wonderful things you’re saying that they won’t even notice me until you point me out.
Can I see galleries of proposals you’ve done in the past?
Heck yeah! After we chat on the phone I will send you some galleries so you can see how I capture a proposal.
What about the weather? What if it snows and we can’t see the mountains?
Then I’d say you’re in luck- pow day! I try not to postpone proposals unless there is an emergency- like a mudslide blocked the road and you can’t get to the mountain, or there is a snowpocalypse and it’s legitimately dangerous to travel. Weather on the mountain can be unpredictable, so it might be overcast and cloudy when you wake up, and then a blue sky day a few hours later. Because of this, I like to go ahead with the original plan. Even if it does snow, your photos will look like a magical snow globe and you’d get some fresh pow to tear up! You are responsible for your own lift ticket or pass. My ticket does not cost you extra regardless of the mountain.
Do you charge differently depending on what mountain we choose?
I have different tiers for proposals. As you scroll below you’ll find which location/mountain falls into which tier. There are no additional travel costs added to the price you see. If you are not sure which mountain you’d like to propose at, you can reach out to me and we’ll chat about which resort is perfect for you.
Do you travel outside of Colorado?
You bet! Wherever you want to go, I’m there! Below you’ll see pricing for out-of-state and international proposals.

You can schedule it for the evening of your proposal date, or if you are on vacation you can schedule it for another evening while you’re in town! It is a one-hour session and it is a perfect way to get some photos of you and your partner dressed to the nines after an awesome day on the slopes!
