Ski the Day began after I photographed an awesome ski wedding in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I realized that there was a lack of resources for adventurous couples who wanted to incorporate skiing or snowboarding into their wedding day. What gives me joy is knowing that I can help you make your dream day possible, even if you don’t quite know how yet.

I’m your photographer both on and off the slopes. However you decide to incorporate skiing or boarding into your day, I’m here to capture it. Whether you say your vows on snowboards at the top of the mountain, have a ceremony in town and then hit the slopes, or spend the day skiing til you find the perfect ceremony spot, I can document it all. I am so honored to be able to capture such important moments on the mountain with rad couples!

From skiing with my family as a child to competitive alpine ski racing for 10 years, my love for the mountains has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. New England has a special place in my heart- I was born in Connecticut and spent my childhood in Massachusetts. My family skied all over New England in the winter and there is nothing quite like it! I absolutely love living and skiing in the Rockies, but there is something magical about New England!

First we’ll schedule a free consultation phone call to discuss what you are envisioning and how many hours of photography coverage would be right for you. Once you’re ready to lock this thing down, you’ll sign an online agreement and pay a retainer fee and you’re booked, baby!

It’s finally here, the Best Day Ever! You’ll spend your day exactly how you want- on the slopes with your favorite person (and some very excited liftees congratulating you).

Relive Your Day

Within three days you’ll receive some sneak peek photos of your day! Six weeks from your date you’ll receive an online gallery of your photos to download and share with anyone and everyone. You’ll be able to look back on the best day ever with beautiful photos reflecting your adventurous hearts and love for each other. What could be better?!

How experienced of a skier are you? How do you ski AND take pictures?

I’m a very experienced skier. I began skiing at a young age and alpine raced for 10 years. Both years of skiing and photographing have allowed me to confidently combine both.

How experienced of a skier or boarder do I need to be?

As long as you feel comfortable navigating on skis or a board, you can Ski the Day. If you only want to stick to the green runs, that is completely okay! This is your day and you can make it exactly how you want it.

We don’t know how to include skiing and boarding into our day… all we know is that I want to be on the mountain when we get married. Can you help with this?

Yes! I would LOVE to help you. I want to hear allll about what you’re envisioning and I can help come up with a plan that is perfect for the two of you. Let’s make this happen!

Do you also do videography?

Yes! I have a videography partner and we operate as a team. Soon more information on photo + video packages will be live on my site. In the meantime, if this is something you are interested in for your day, reach out and we can discuss the options and how it works!

Can you photograph our day even when we’re not skiing or boarding?

I’m your photographer both on and off the slopes. However you decide to incorporate skiing or boarding into your day, I’m here to capture it. Whether you have a traditional church wedding and ski afterwards, elope on snowboards, or want photos of the two of you exploring town after a day on the mountain, I can document it all.

Do you charge differently depending on what mountain we choose?

All travel costs are included for every mountain in New England.

Are you buying our ticket? Do we buy your ticket?

You are responsible for your own lift ticket or pass. My ticket does not cost you extra regardless of the mountain.

6 HOURS OF PHOTOGRAPHY COVERAGE

This option is a good amount of time if you’d like getting ready photos, a ceremony, some runs on the mountain, and a lil celebration after! You can slide the coverage however you’d like, so if you’d prefer photos only on the mountain and then a celebration or activity afterwards, 6 hours works well for that too.
